Black mould in less than 2 months

I bought this from my favorite online houseware site. It looks great, but there is black mould on the shelf in less than 2 months - I had to throw it out. Crew and Axel said to report the issue to online retailer, which I did, but there is a 30-day window that is passed. I was expecting a better product, and better after-sale service from manufacturer. It is a poor product.
